Douglas Monticciolo
Mr. Monticciolo was a co-founder of The Franchise
Capital Source, Inc. and FCS Advisors, Inc. Mr. Monticciolo
was previously co-head of the Asset-Backed Securities department
for Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., and founder of Deutsche
Bank's franchise finance business and the founder of an independent
franchise loan origination company. Prior to Deutsche Bank,
Mr. Monticciolo specialized in asset and balance sheet advisory
and transactions for financial institutions with a focus on
securitization and principal finance. In this capacity, Mr.
Monticciolo was a senior vice-president and head of the Bank
Industry Group at Lehman Brothers for almost two years and
vice-president of the Bank Industry Group at Goldman, Sachs
for nine years.
Mark Callahan
Mr. Callahan was a co-founder of The Franchise
Capital Source, Inc. and FCS Advisors, Inc. Prior to The Franchise
Capital Source, Mr. Callahan was with Deutsche Banc Securities,
Inc. in the Asset Securitization Group where he focused on
warehouse financings and securitizations within the real estate,
franchise, equipment leasing, home equity and esoteric asset
sectors. Prior to Deutsche, Mr. Callahan was with Lehman Brothers
where he specialized in asset and balance sheet advisory and
transactions for financial institutions with a focus on securitization
and principal finance. Prior to Lehman, Mr. Callahan worked
in the Mergers & Acquisition Group at JP Morgan Chase
where he specialized in the Chemicals and Power sectors.
Ronald Davidow
Mr. Davidow was formerly a founding member and
Executive Vice President of Enhance Financial Services Group
Inc. and President of Asset Guaranty Insurance Company. Mr.
Davidow was responsible for developing and implementing a
corporate strategic plan for diversification and for developing
and implementing new products within the company's existing
core business. Prior to Enhance and Asset Guaranty, Mr. Davidow
spent eight years as a Managing Director of the Insurance
Rating Group at Standard & Poor's Corporation. Mr. Davidow
was also formerly a Senior Vice President of Marketing and
New Product Development at FGC Services Inc., an intermediary
of financial guaranty products.
Paul Iacovacci
Mr. Iacovacci was formerly the CFO of Genispace,
a business outsourcing company. Mr. Iacovacci was previously,
the Managing Director in charge of daily operations at Troika
Dialog, Russia's largest investment bank. Prior to Troika,
Mr. Iacovacci built the Asian operations for both Bear Stearns
and Barclays Bank, concentrating on capital markets and fixed
income trading and sales. He was on the Asia Executive Committee
at both institutions. Mr. Iacovacci who is a CPA, began his
finance career as a fixed income trader at Salmon Brothers
in 1985.
John Tripp
Mr. Tripp has over 30 years experience in the management,
architecture and implementation of applications' software.
He has held management positions in investment/commercial
banking, government, real estate, software and consulting
organizations, including Goldman, Sachs & Co., Chase Manhattan
Bank, Unisys and the State of Michigan. He and his teams have
been involved in numerous large-scale application development
projects to support front office, back office, information
security and systems programming environments.
John Chaloner
Mr. Chaloner is a global fixed assets professional
with over 20 years of real estate and global asset management
experience. He recently was a managing member in two private
commercial real estate investment partnerships, where he provided
advisory services for companies, including The Walt Disney
Company and Goldman Sachs/Tishman Speyer Properties. He also
founded and subsequently sold, two private manufacturing and
services companies. Mr. Chaloner has extensive real estate,
equipment and lease financing experience both in the U.S.
and abroad. Mr. Chaloner has also held senior management positions
with the United States Surgical Corporation, Disney Development
Company and Salomon Brothers, Inc.
Charles Freeman
Mr.Charles Freeman was Chairman, CEO and founder
of Commercial Capital Corporation, a specialty lender that
originated $400 million in loans to small and medium businesses
in 26 states. Previously, he was President and CEO of Pilgrim
State Bank, a full service community commercial bank servicing
northern New Jersey. From 1986 to 1991 Mr. Freeman was appointed
by the White House to serve as the U.S. Small Business Administration's
Regional Administrator for New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rice
and the Virgin Islands and administered a portfolio of $1.5
billion of assets with 13 offices and a staff of 400. Mr.
Freeman holds a B.A. from New York University and J.D. from
Brooklyn Law School.
Richard G. Shanklin
(Orlando, Florida)
Mr. Shanklin has
over twenty years experience in the areas of corporate finance,
commercial real estate finance, equipment leasing, investment
banking, corporate restructurings and asset management. Mr.
Shanklin was formerly the Chief Credit Officer for Lehman
Brothers' Franchise Finance business reporting to the co-head
of Global Asset Based Lending. Mr. Shanklin is credited with
developing Lehman's franchise finance business, along with
policies and procedures for underwriting, due diligence, servicing
and special servicing for franchise restaurant and retail
energy finance. Under Mr. Shanklin's leadership, Lehman Brothers'
underwrote over $1.2 billion in securitized debt and sale-leaseback
transactions in the first 18 months of operations, including
originating and structuring complex senior and mezzanine financing
transactions. Mr. Shanklin has also served as the Chief Credit
Officer for a national commercial real estate finance and
development firm, managed a $500 million national middle market
loan and equipment lease portfolio for a major finance company,
and served as Senior Loan Workout Officer of a failing $300
million New Jersey based bank. Mr. Shanklin is frequently
invited to speak at conferences, and has served as a faculty
member at the ABA's National Commercial Lending Graduate School
at the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Shanklin earned a Bachelor
of Arts degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
Frederick Schlosser
(Life Settlements Operating Partner)
Mr. Schlosser, has
over 17 years of experience in the financial service industry
and was most recently the CFO & COO of Weiss Capital Group
Life Settlements (now Vibrant Capital). Mr. Schlosser has
been active in the private equity markets, both as a principal
and as an advisor to entrepreneurs, consulting for companies
on matters of strategy, restructuring and financing. Before
joining Weiss Cap Group, LLC, Mr. Schlosser was the CFO and
COO of several early stage companies in the software, and
entertainment industries. Prior to this he was senior executive
vice president at Tower Hill Capital Group, where he sat on
the investment committee, which oversaw over $200 million
in investment capital and was responsible for managing a team
of investment bankers. Mr. Schlosser also served as Vice President
of Finance and Director of Acquisitions for National Resources
/ Pembroke Capital Group in Greenwich, Connecticut and was
involved in the raising of a $100 million dollar fund for
the redevelopment of Brownfield Properties. Mr. Schlosser
began his career with Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers)
and is a certified public accountant (CPA). He earned his
undergraduate degree from Williams College and has a Masters
in Accounting from New York Universitys Stern School
of Business.
